Reunion Photos and Farewell

Late last week I posted quite a few
pictures
taken during our Reunion Events.
There may yet be further pictures shared by willing contributors. I
have heard from at least two other people; I will post the pictures to
the website just as soon as I have them. If you have photos you would
like to share, then please e-mail them to me and I will include them in
the collection.

This will be the final time you hear from me. I had a wonderful time
working on the website (and on the committee at large) and thoroughly
enjoyed reading and viewing the updates made to the website by many of
our classmates. Thank you for your contributions and for making the
website and the reunion a success.

cheers.

Getting a copy of the "My Life" Reunion Journal

The "My Life" Reunion Journal is now available to order or download.

We took some orders for My Life books during the Reunion. If you put
your name on a list to order your own copy (thank you!), then you
should have already received a message with further instructions.

If you did not order a copy at the Reunion... don't despair! You need
simply follow the instructions found on this web page:

 <http://www.skyline87.org/mylife/order.cgi>

The cost of the hard copy of the Reunion Journal covers the cost of
production; we aren't producing the
books to turn a profit... we paid all the bills already (much to our
collective relief). If you don't have the cash, I will carefully
consider other offers in kind... such as Mexican Coca Cola, Sidral
Mundet, and Tortuga Rum Cakes (no walnuts please).

If you just want to download a soft copy of the Journal, you can do so
absolutely free of charge.

 <http://www.skyline87.org/mylife/download.cgi>

It is a large file - almost 100MB - so you'll need a fairly fast (and
reliable) connection to the Internet to download the Journal. If you
experience problems downloading the file, then drop me an e-mail and
let me know - I'll mail you an electronic copy of the Journal on a CD.

cheers.

Getting a copy of the Reunion DVD

Wow... it's been a week now since our reunion and already it seems
like the events happened months ago. Time is relentless.

I've been a bit of a slacker lately about updating the website. I
have some decent (but still lame) excuses to account for my laziness.
For example, today (er... well it's 2:00am... so yesterday) I was
going to spend a bunch of time on the website. But I started a
project out in the garage and it involved power tools and getting
dirty and sweaty... and then Gladiator came on TNT. So, I grabbed a
couple of cold Cokes (hecho en Mexico) out of the fridge and made a
night of it. Out in the garage - working under the dull glow of the
fluorescent lights, nursing the Cokes, and blowing drywall dust out
of my eyelashes and hair - the evening slipped away quickly.

But I digress.

You can order the DVD that we premiered at the Saturday Night Dinner
Reunion Event. Dave Christenson poured a ton of time into the DVD's
production. It is top rate... and a must have for all Class of 1987
alumni. If you were there on Saturday, then you went home with the
DVD as a party favor (thanks for attending!).

If you weren't at the Saturday Event, then have a look here:

 <http://www.skyline87.org/dvd/>

Scroll down... you'll find embedded within the page a sample of the
DVD. It's only the first 5 minutes (of the 40 minute video). There
is more - much more - but I'm afraid that you'll have to order your
own copy to see it all.

We only ordered enough DVDs for those who attended the reunion. If
you are interested in obtaining a DVD, you will be glad to know that
we are ordering additional copies. If you would like one, you need only
send Dave Christenson an e-mail
so that he knows exactly how many additional copies to order.

The cost for the DVD is $20 and includes shipping and handling. Be
sure to include your address and a contact phone number with your
order request.

Be well.

cheers.
